Can't see tables in SQL Server 2005?
foamx
All,
I'm sure this has been asked but I searched the forums and could not find an answer. I connecting to a SQL Server 2005 database and can access data from the SQL Scrapbook by typing queries. The odd bit is I'm not able to see and tables in the Data Source Explorer or in the table browser tool in the report designer. Is there something obvious I'm missing? The user I'm connecting as is DBO has full rights to the database.
Thanks in advance.
Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
What version of BIRT are you using? Have you gone into the Manage Drivers button within the Data Source... and are you using the latest SQL Server JDBC driver?

I'm running All in One build 2.3.2 and MS 2005 jdbc driver version 1.2. I'm sorry to be such a newbie dolt but I'm unable to find the Manage Drivers button. I was able to add the .jar file and set up the connection information in the driver properties dialogs. I'm able to connect just fine. I can successfully query data in the sql scrapbook. I just can't see any tables in the table browser dialogs.<br />

Thanks for your help...<br />
