How do you display and aggregation of 0 in a chart or cross-tab

I am not sure I understand your question. Do you want to display something specific if the aggregation totals zero? Otherwise, the design should show zero if in fact the total of the aggregated data element is zero.

Sorry I'll try and explain better
I have a cross tab that displays has member type as its summary field and the field is grouped by day and member type. If a member type doesn't exist on a certain day it just show the cell as blank rather than 0. I curious if I can make it show 0 instead.

starfusion,
If you're using BIRT 2.3.0 or newer, you can set this in the property editor for the crosstab under the "Empty Rows/Columns" section. You put 0 in the "For empty cells, show:" box.
