OpenDeploy Processes
crusader
Kia Ora,
I've a question regarding OpenDeploy processes. We will have 2 TeamSite servers, and we just want 1 process from EACH TS server to a webserver i.e:
client1 --> target1
client2 --> target2
,and that's all.
My understanding is that the actual TeamSite license includes 1 OD process (i.e 1 OD client and 1 OD server) - is that right? If so then we just need another licence - but there appears to be 3 to choose from:
OpenDeploy Licence
OpenDeploy Receivers Licence
OpenDeploy Server Process
My guess (and we have to guess because it ain't clear) is that we just need to get 1 OpenDeploy Server Process license to cover our second OD process. Is that correct?
What is the difference between all of these OD licenses anyhow? Is anyone else struggling to find which are the applicable licenses?
Thanks
C

Please check directly with your Interwoven Sales Representative for information like this. At one point I believe that an OpenDeploy license was bundled with TeamSite - but that may have been for OpenDeploy 3.x or maybe 4.x, I'm not sure if it applies to OpenDeploy 5.x.
Since you have two TeamSite servers and two targets - you will need to make sure that you end up with two BaseServer licenses and [at least] two Receivers licenses. Again - check with your Interwoven Sales Representative for details on licensing.

As suggested, please check with your sales rep who can determine your entitlements based on what you purchased and when.
OpenDeploy 5.x has two licensed components:
1. Base Server for sending and/or receiving deployments on a single host.
2. Receiver for receiving deployments on a single host.
