string input to stored procedure in 2.3.2
mh10
Hi,
while creating dataset, when i use below oracle store procedure in version 2.2.2 then it returns the data properly
{call test_proc('','187,198,176,142,134',2007,'Y',?)}
but when i use the same syntax in version 2.3.2 then it gives error that "wrong number or type of arguments"
instead, in 2.3.2 when i used this below syntax with one value in second argument, then it returns result
{call test_proc('','187',2007,'Y',?)}
so, problem seems in second argument which is a string
'187,198,176,142,134'....which works in 2.2.2 and not in 2.3.2
why?
how to give string input to oracle stored procedure in version 2.3.2?
Any suggestions?

Hi all,
I found the workaround for this, in v2.3.2 i used
{call test_proc('', '(187,198,176,142,134)' ,2007,'Y',?)}
instead of
{call test_proc('', '187,198,176,142,134', 2007,'Y',?)}
placed string input in ( ) bracket
it worked........
Thanks
