PHP-based web code - need to link to iserver login page

Hi,

We are in the last 2 weeks of our eval of iServer Express and what we need to understand is how we can integrate this with our application. What we need is very simple - a working link to the iPortal login screen.

Here is our environment:

Linux server
Apache Web Server on Port 80
iPortal on Port 8900
HTDocs is in the document root

We have a PHP file that links to the iPortal page, but the iportal page doesn't display correctly and the iPortal login screen comes up as not valid.

Our PHP file calling the URL is very simple: readfile("http://<localhost>:8900/iportal/") - we replace localhost w/ our server information (just an fyi)

The port number 8900 does not come through in the URL - so it doesn't work.

This is one of the biggest things we need if we are to move forward with this product - any help is appreciated.

Seems like PHP readfile function is filtering out the port information from the URL. You might want to use header function for this purpose: Here is an example:<br />

Another way you could provide authentication for iServer Express in your PHP application is through using JSAPI:<br />
