How to access DataSet using script

Hi,

I have a dataset having three columns colA, colB and colC.
A chart is generated using colA and colB.

OnClick of the YSeries I need to cature the repectine value of the colC using script.

Can anyone help me how to do this? Any pointer will help me a lot...
