Word Format and Image

We have integarted BIRT with standalone OC4J and the reports are displaying perfectly in Viewer. But when we tried to export the report to Word format, all the images present in the report are missing. After going through the forum, i came to know that default excel emitter wil not display images, but nothing mentioned regarding the word emitter. Any idea why word format are not displaying the images.
From the eclipse, if i directly try to export into word format, the images are coming. So is it a problem of OC4J Integration? Is there is any specific folder for OC4J to keep the images?

Some more details...
I have tried only with the embedded images. Also PDF format is coming perfectly with images.

Hi.. one more update from my side..
Is there any problem with Linux installation?
If the OC4J is in windows, the image displays correctly... So the problem is only with the Linux... In Linux, do i have to change anything for the embedded image? any setting?
