slow Page Re-draws using the Visual Format tag

When I use the browser UI with the Visual Formatting selected in my paragraphs, the page loads very slow in my browser (IE 6.0, NT 4.0) Is this a common problem, or is there a way around it?

It is slower to load pages with Visual Format editors in it. The more you have, the slower it gets. I am not sure how slow is your situation. One thing that for sure will speed it up is to set external-editor-inline="f" so you use VF editor in the popup mode.
