Use data mapping rules in table of contents expressions?

Dear all,

I have got a list having a group on a column binding that represents a type (in my case a scenario type). The report designer allows me to specify alternate values to display "readable" values for it. For instance a rule maps 1 to "Nominal". Another mapping rule maps 2 to "Alternative", etc. Thanks to the mapping rules, the group header contains a data item that displays meaningful values to the user.

I would like to write the same alternate values in the table of contents. Is there a way to use the mapping rules to produce meaningful entries in the table of contents?
