CVS Version

In my reporting environment, it would be great to display the CVS version on the report. Does anyone know to do this?

There is not a direct integration with CVS to support this. That being said, it can be done with some work on the application side. Add a parameter to the report that accepts a string. When you execute the report, have the CVS version passed in under the parameter. Then add a text element to the header of the Master Page (or where ever you want) and show the version number.

You can also get around having the application pass in the value if that is too cumbersome. If the CVS version number is not likely to change too often, you can assign it as the default parameter value on the report design.
