Automatic formating of Arabic text

Could may be someone help me with following issue.
We have Arabic client, using BIRT to generate a report from "customer" database.
Field "customer name" is populated from this database, however, underlined DB field could contain name either in Arabic language or in English language.
When the customer name is in Arabic, then client want to have it right side alingned, when the name is in English, it should be aligned left side.

I tried different combinations for "Bidi text direction" variable as well as "text aligment", but none of them (not even Auto) would lead to text aligment base on selected text from DB.

Does anyone has similar experience or even better solution for such problem? i would more then appreciate any suggestions.
