Launch mulitiple reports and concatinate the results

I have designed some very involved reports. These finanacial reports can be ran individually, but the users really need to have a single output will all financial reports. The object is to NOT recreate the layouts and logic in another report design.

These reports have overlapping parameters so what I need is a way for the user to enter the parameters once (this is easy) and then lauch all the selected reports and concatinate the results into one giant report.

ie: A.rptdesign; B.rptdesign; C.rptdesign
user enters parameters (Fiscal year 2009, Fiscal period 06, chart of account, organization, etc) -- these parameters are used to run all the reports.
user selects to have reports A and B this run
the report exuctes the appropriate rptdesign files and concatinates the results from the exucutions together.
Another user wants to have reports A, B and C so the objective would be to have the results from report A, B, and C concatinated together.

My initial idea was to create a rptdesign with the necessary parameters and then have a way to launch the reports. I'm not having any luck finding a way to lauch the reports in the background and concatinate the results together.

Anyone with any ideas?
