reduce pdf report size

Hi,

I have a pdf report which has our company logo on each page.
Due to which the size of the report is going upto 390K.

I need to reduce the size of the report.
Is there something similar to Postscript prolog or shared resources.

I tried using the image from the shared resource, but that didnt help.
I used svg instead of gif, which reduced the file size to 190K.

But I still want to reduce the file size.

Any suggestions?

File Size of BIRT report output in "EXCEL" format is too big i.e. around 8.50 MB. But when I copied the content of file and paste it in another blank excel file, now the file is is around 1.5 MB. Can please anybody suggest me how to reduce the file size of BIRT output in "EXCEL" format?
