OALL8 is in an inconsistent state oracle (BIRT)
IN_BIRTY
I am facing an issue while running a report from my application.
we have an application with a report list page which lists around 10 reports. When we click the 10th report the report is showing up with an exception being thrown in the log file... And when we try to go back to application from this report viewer page, exception page is getting opened. Thereafter the entire application goes down and not allowing to login back again.
One more thing to be noted is this is not reproducible in the remaining nine reports.
This occurs only in the last(10th) report.
The report is connected to Oracle datasource.
I have attached the error log with this.
We are using Oracle 10g. the ojdbc driver used is ojdbc14.jar.
we could smell out something that is happening behind the datasource connectivity, but unable to figure it out clearly.
Also this issue is encountered only in few machines and not all the machines.
Does anybody has a workaround for this? This being a critical issue, needs a solution at this moment.
Thanks.

Hi IN_BIRTY,

Is this the only report that you have connected to the Oracle dataSource? If you haven't already, you may try updating to the latest ojdbc14.jar driver for Oracle 10g.
