Subreport for UML model

I am using Rational Software Architect v. 7.5.0 which has BIRT v. 2.3.0 and I am reporting on a UML model. I don't understand how to link a subreport data set to the main report data set. The tutorial shows using a subreport data set with a SQL Select statement using "?" in the Where clause. But using the above tools against a UML model I don't seem to have the choice of using SQL statements at all. Help!

Hi Dex,

If I'm understanding correctly, you should be able to limit the inner 'subreport' table with a filter if you aren't using SQL Query Data Sets. If I'm not understanding your issue correctly, please explain further. Thanks.

Hi Michael,

I should have said that I am reporting on a UML model in RSA. I'm not using SQL Query because my tools don't seem to allow that. I tried using a filter, but it doesn't appear to allow use of a "?" to get the parameter from the main report query.
