TS 4.5.1 SP2 Problem
ela
Hi,
we're preparing for the upgrade to TeamSite 5.5.2, but as we still are on 4.5.1 (Solaris) without SP2, we first have to install this required SP (according to IW). We have installed the following SP's and Patches on our test server:
- sp2 for ts4.5.1
- patch 1192 and 1196 for ts4.5.1
- sp2 for tst4.5.1
After installation, there are more things which don't work as before (or not at all), and I've split up my questions and posted them in the relevant forums.
When trying to deploy files with our workflows, I see this error message in the deploy log:
cannot create directory /iwmnt/default/main/internet/mobi.ch/Implementation_Dev/Workflow_Dev/WORKAREA/Workflow/tmp/250319.
Seems like permission problems or the wrong user trying to create the directory. I've compared the directory permissions with the production server and they're the same. Also, before installing the SP and the Patches, it worked fine. Do you have any ideas what to check and where?
Kind regards,

This does look like a permissions problem. Are you using OpenDeploy to deploy files to a workarea on your TeamSite server? If so, what are the permissions on that workarea?
You may want to try running the deployment from outside of workflow to determine if workflow (or the execution environment of the external task) is a factor.

Hi Brinko,
yes we're using OpenDeploy and the permissions on the workarea are:
drwxrwxr-x 11 u108780 iwts 512 Jan 20 16:50 Workflow
Creating the directory from the command line works fine, both with my user, iwts and root. I'll try to do some more debugging of the deployment script.
