BMP image exported in PDF with altered colors
slievain
I'm facing an issue when exporting my report in PDF. There is a BMP image in the master page header which is rendered with altered colors. Whereas with ppt generation, the colors are respected.
Does someone have an idea or also faced this problem?

slievain,
What version of BIRT are you using? Can you include an example with an image that has this issue?
slievain
Here is a simple example with the eclipse logo placed in the header of the master page (I embedded the image to let you have it but I obtain the same issue when the image is placed in the ressource directory). If you generate the report in pdf and ppt using the designer you'll see that colors are not rendered the same way.
PS : I use BIRT 2.3.2 r232
Thanks

slievain,
I can't say I notice a huge difference, if any. Can you attach screenshots of your two different outputs so I can see exactly how they're displaying for you? Thanks.

Thanks for your help!
First I mixed up BMP and PNG. The image I use is a PNG.
Second, you'll see that I have a PNG image on the left and a grid cell with a background color (the color was taken from the original image) on the right.
I think that the problem appears during the PDF generation.
PS: The PDF is highly compressed due to the attached file limitations but the result is the same with better quality
