Why I can not edit table in report design

I want to edit table in report design, this table is defined in the library.
I reference it into report design.
I captured picture for this sense, the picture is at attached.
Please help me to take a look.

I believe currently only style properties can be changed. You will either have to modify the library or put separate table in your report.

What I think is that BIRT should allow user to define a common style table in the library, and then can use this table in each report design.
