Charset for various data sources
DinaSayed
I noticed during using data sources like Flat file and XML there is a selection for charset and encoding like IBM037,IBM420...etc, these code pages is for legacy systems like As400 and Zseries...so my question is :
Does this mean that the BIRT can perform code page conversion for these code pages to UTF-8 for example in order to read and use this data later in the report?

Hi DinaSayed,
I'm pretty sure that answer is yes. I've used the flat file data source to import some files that were encode with little endian encoding just to display it on the report.
