Sripted Data Source and IDataSourceInstance

Hello out there,
i am using a scripted data source and I have implemented own event handlers for Data Source and Data Set.
I am generating a session ID for a connection to a third party system in my connection Event Handler (open-Method) and I need to pass this sessionID to my DataSet-Handler. I thought I could use the Extension Properties of the IDataSourceInstance-Class (because I can use this in Datasource and Dataset eventhandler), but it seems there are no properties for scripted Data-Sources available (the method getAllExtensionProperties always return null).

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this?
