I'm not sure - but I think the following snippet of code is likely to cause problems:

use TeamSite::CGI_lite;
use TeamSite::Config;
...
use CGI qw(param);
my $in = new CGI;
...
my $cgi = TeamSite::CGI_lite->new();
$cgi->parse_data();

Once you process the form data with new CGI; I believe it is then unavailable for $cgi->parse_data(); and may either result is lots of errors, or a hung process.

I suggest you choose one or the other (CGI or TeamSite::CGI_lite) and stick with it consistantly, otherwise I think you need to copy environment information that both will be trying to parse so that you can parse it with one, restore it, and then parse it with the other too (not ideal in my opinion, but ...)

Also - please provide more information:
What version of TeamSite / TeamSite Templating (including patches and service packs)?
What platform / OS?
What browser (include version, patches, hot-fixes, etc.)

Define in a bit more detail what "working" from a Callout means and what "not working" from callServer() means?

You might also need to supply the DCT and associated JS files (if separate from the DCT).
