Dynamically add columns to table

Hi,
I want to add columns dynamically to table.
Here is my explanation for the requirement
I have a table A which got 8 unique rows. I want to create a table and want to add 8 columns.

Please let me know how can i do it.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. I copied and pasted that code in my table Oncreate method. I got exceptions when I did in that way. Do you have any example rptdesign. Please let me know is there any additional things that I need to do.

I believe it said that that code goes in the initialize method. The first part of the script shows how to create the table. The second part shows how to add to the table. You'll need to name the table you've already created and call that table to get it to add columns to it.

There's a typo in your script.

//set reference to the first detail
rowmyNewRow = dynamicTable.getDetail().get(0);

-SHOULD BE-

That should do it.
