Croosstab - Row Grouping by time

Need: I need to group the rows in a cross tab by 30 minutes intervals. See pics attached for screen shots of the cross tab, cube for it and data set.

Data set:
- HIST_TIMESTAP: a regular timestamp
- HIST_AFFILIATION: record category: Student, Faculty, Staff,...

As you can see HIST_TIMESTAMP defines the rows, so I need to group these rows in interval of 30 minues and format the display text to show something like:

7:00AM - 7:30AM
7:30AM - 8:00AM
.............
.........
....

Machine Specs:
- OS: Win XP
- MyEclipse: 7.1
- MyEclipse plugin for BIRT: 2.3.1
