connection profile

Hi

I had created data source using connection profile store.

connectionprofile.xml file i have stored in application web-inf folder then i have created data set using connection profile in my local system its working fine.

my objective
before deploying production server i need to change db settings , i have changed connection profile page but its not working new one , it taking old db settings.

any one have example please revert back.
