Question Related to BIRT SQL Query Builder

Hi Everyone,

I have some questions related to SQL Query Builder prototype introduced in BIRT 2.3.

I had some hands on it,and on my level (new guy in S/w industry) i found it quite nice.

i have seen some other query builder tools and found that BIRT SQL Query Builder prototype is lacking at some places in comparison to some other tools.
but it is still a prototype so its too early to compare it.

I have seen some question already raised that " can we use it directly without going for connection profile option?"

Anyone here from BIRT can comment on this?
I think it would really great if can directly use it as most of the other tools provde such query builder directly.

one more thing where can i found details for extension points available for BIRT SQB...

Is the DTP SQL builder going to be as prototype in BIRT 2.5 ?????
