Hi...
I want to group three types of fields in my report. They are in same table layout ,rest , there is not connection between them. how do i go about the grouping. like, first i have to group the expenses and then i need the sum of all expenses. second group is of fees and then sum of all fees... Please help me with this..

You just need to create your three groups in the order you want them to appear in your table. Create the first group (the highest level) by right-clicking on the detail row of the table and selecting "Insert Group". Configure your group as you like. Then create your second and third groups in exactly the same fashion to create your hierarchy.

There is no hierarchy. they are 3 different groups , its just that they are in same table . This is where i am facing problem. Groups are coming in hierachy fashion.
Suppose, if u hv seen e-spreadsheet there each row can be grouped individually. I need to implement the same in BIRT.

I have a similar problem. Can u help me in creating a report as follows.

.....
The report shud have only two columns. One column shud contain R1,R2...
The second should contain I1,I2.. And S1..S2
Any help please...
