tooltips on stacked area charts

The generated image map for my stacked area charts only creates a tooltip polygon that maps the line at the top edge of my areas, not around the entire area. Is this a bug? If not, how do I generate an image map for the entire area?

This isn't a bug. It's just the way it is currently in BIRT. I do see how it would be nicer to have it display the tooltip by clicking or hovering on a bigger part of the area. This is definitely something that could be put in as an enhancement request. You can do that here:<br />

Thanks - just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I'll look for a dup and if none is found I'll submit an enhancement request.
