Pie chart values getting squashed
richpoulse
Hi all,
I have a pie chart with lots of different values. Problem is when it displays the values, becuase they are so close together they overlap and you can't make out some of them. Does anyone know a workaround for this?
Thanks
P.S - Im using v2.2.1 of BIRTY

If you don't need to see every value, you might want to consider selecting a cutoff for an 'other' category. This helped declutter some of my pie charts.
If every value is critical, I'm not sure of the best answer. Smaller font? Larger chart? Adjust the leader lines?

Thanks very much for your response Kevin.
Are you able to somehow "bend" the individual leader lines? ? Problem is when you adjust it, it gets adjusted for all values in the series, thus not solving the problem.
Also all the values are critical so using a cutoff isnt really an option for me.
Any other ideas?
