BIRT-Runtime Update 2.3.2.2 Error

Hello,

at first. Sorry for my bad English but i hope i can describe my problem :-)

I´am using BIRT for our BI-Reports. Last month i saw that a new Eclipse version is available. So i update the Eclipse an saw that i need also a newversion of the BIRT-Runtime.

Last friday i updated the BIRT-Runtime and started testing our report generating. After each report i get an WARNING like this:

22.06.2009 09:16:45 org.eclipse.birt.report.model.metadata.ChoicePropertyType
validateXml
WARNUNG: Not found choice: any

Does anyone know why i get this message ?

Hi André,

The reason for that error is because the datatype "any", that was available in older versions of birt, no longer exists. I believe it was taken out in 2.3.0. You probably had 2.2.2 or earlier before your latest upgrade. If you go in your report design and update the types on those data items, you should be good.
