Conditional background image

I want to insert a background image in masterpage but I want image to be displayed only based on some conditions.
for example. image should get displayed only when type = "Draft". How can I achieve this??Please help me..

Is "type" a parameter you'd be basing the background image off of?

Ya .. type is a parameter.. If type = DRAFT , then only the style should get imported into the background in master page..
