BIRT Report Runtime Performance Issue in JBOSS AS 5.0.1

Hi All

I have integrated the BIRT 2.2.1 .
But when i generate the report from the application for the large records it takes too much time to generate.
Is there any tweaks to imporve performance in both in Design Time and Run Time for the BIRT Reports.

And also Is there any specific configuration steps to integrate Report Engine in JBOSS Server 5

Anyone pls help me to sole this problem.
