Hi Michael,

Could you please give me a doc on workflow of birt and doc on architecture of birt.

i have worked on birt reports but not very clear how to exactly explain the workflow and architechture.

please send a doc which is easy to understand and precise.

Actually i need a generalized doc which could explain how BIRT works and its architecture.

I have worked on creating reports but if have to explain what BIRT is and a generalized expalination of worflow of Birt ,to create reports and its architechture.

i need some doc that could answer all of this in a precise manner.

i have gone through the docs available on Birt site but they are not much helpful to me ...its difficult to understand !!!!

I think what your looking for in terms of diagrams of the BIRT architecture and workflow are available from several presentations that myself and others have done about BIRT at EclipseCon over the years. In particular, take a look at: 
 
(Pay attention to the topics of the "Phases" and event orders of BIRT report generation)

And look up the ROM documentation if you need to know how BIRT reports are "Structured", although you'd get a better high level idea by openining an example report and looking at the Outline view.
