Date Parameters

Can someone help me as i am going daft.

I am passign a date parameter and when i pass it, the format is

Tue Apr 08 2008 00:00:00 GMT+0100 (BST)

which doesnt filter the data and i get no results. When i change it to 08/04/2008 it works. I have changed the data in SQL and still no luck. I have also formatted the paramter to short date.

Can anyone help?

You're using "date" as the parameter type, not "dateTime"?

I have managed to solve this by using another solution for another question i posted. Many thanks to everyone for helping.
