Parameter Data Type

Greeting,

I need to set up a parameter on my BIRT(2.3.0) report for number(16) field in Oracle 10g. It keeps giving me errors. What data type should I choose for report parameter and parameter on the dataset?

What data type are you choosing now? INT would seen too small, but Float should work fine on both the parameter and the data set.
