Report Development and Publishing

Hi,

(1) If we install and configure an iServer on Linux, will it be available to Actuate BIRT Report Designer (which is on Windows) for publishing the reports?

(2) Will the reports developed with Actuate BIRT Report Designer (which is on Windows) be available to Management Console of iServer installed and configured on Linux?

We are working with exactly the setup you are looking into:

iServer Express on Linux
Report Developer Pro on Windows

The answer to both your questions is yes - but I would strongly suggest you to use the trial versions before you purchase the full license.
