Problem generating BOLD Japanese font using MS Arial Unicode

Hi,

I am using MS Arial Unicode fonts to generate PDF reports.
We generate reports in English and Japanese.

When using "BOLD" on this font - the characters are very heavily BOLDED and it is very difficult to read.
I tried using different variants of BOLD through styles - but the end result is the same.

Is there any solution for this?
