Problems with IE6 and PDF generation

I have an application running with BIRT reports. The application works fine on Firefox and Internet Explorer 7.

However, when I tested this on Internet Explorer 6, a surprising occurs: the new window with PDF report close alone. This occurs only on IE6. Why? How can I fix this?

Obs.: this occurs only on IE6 and generating PDF reports, not in other browsers or with HTML reports.

Can you explain a little more about what happens when you run reports in PDF in IE6? I'm not sure I'm understanding what's happening. Thanks.

Hi mwilliams.

When I run report in PDF in IE6, the window unexpectedly closes. But I fix this simply renaming all my rptdesigns to *.pdf.rptdesign and IE6 passed to recognize correct the files.

Unfortunately, I realy don't know why this occured, but now it's works fine.

That is odd. I've never heard of that issue occuring before. I'm glad you found something that worked for you though. Let us know whenever you have questions.
