Can't find mailinst!

Hi guys?

Following the steps and everything ran fine, until I came to "How to register the iServer e-mail account". I cannot find the mailinst program in iServer bin or anywhere else on my system.

Has anybody come across this?

With iServer Express, you should configure the iServer to use SMTP to send email notifications. You should be able to find this in the product documentation. There have been multiple other posts on configuring the iServer to use SMTP and so you should be able to refer to those as well.<br />

mailinst is used to setup the MS Exchange account credentials to send email via MAPI. This is not supported in iServer Express. The product documentation should be corrected to reflect this. Can you please a defect on BIRT-Exchange's bug reporting system (<a class='bbc_url' href='http://www.birt-exchange.org/bug-reporting/'>Business Intelligence Software - Reporting Tools - BIRT Exchange</a>) for this?
