Widow/Orphan in BIRT 3.2

Hi All,

Could anyone plz explain me the concept of Widow/Orphan in BIRT and how to set the property by creating a new Style?

I believe that the widow/orphan feature was originally intended just for plain text elements. You can see a bug report that was filed on the issue <a class='bbc_url' href='https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=150243'>here</a>. Page breaking has drastically improved in BIRT in the latest release, version 2.5. The feature of "avoid page break within" now handles avoiding widows/orphans. So, if you have the ability to upgrade, this would be the way to go.<br />
