out of bound error message?

Hi,
I am making a line graph using BIRT. When I try to add an outlier into my data, it displays this message:
"org.eclipse.birt.chart.exception.ChartException: Unable to render too many steps. Please adjust the Scale Step or Unit."

Is there a way to fix this without adjusting the scale step?

Hi Mark,

Can you give more details about the outlier you are adding? Also, are your working with a fixed scale and step?
