How do I use same data source to create multiple different reports (not sub report)? Any Suggestions?

Hi Sachin_K,
With the use of a report library, you can utilize the same dataSource in many report designs.

Hi Michael

Thanks for the reply. I looked further in support forum and found the following thread which explains how to add data set to report library.
I simply copy the data source from one report to another (right click copy -> new report - right click paste) It's a great option.
Another way would be to open your completed report - delete the unnecessary report items (tables, etc) and save as -> new report name.
I'm guessing the library use is a best practice though.

Hi,
Usage of Report Library will help in maintaing the reports. If you need to modify the data source for all the reports and point it to a new datasource sometime later, you will be making change only at one place in case of using report library otherwise modification will be required in all the reports individually.
