Possibilties to create a Birt report?

Hi,

i am new to this forum and Birt.

I would like to know, which possibilties exist to create a Birt report?

At the moment i know the technique with the "report designer", but it isn´t flexible.

Can I program with Java my own reports?
And if yes, please say me, how I can learn that:

- which tutorials i should do?
- or which books are interessting for me?

You can create BIRT reports using the API's and Java code. Here's a simple example from the devShare to get you started.<br />
