Locking in Templating

I am running into a locking issue in Templaing. Let's say user A edited and saved an existing DCR, but didn't regenerate. This particular DCR is locked by editing and the lock is owned by user A. User B came along and edited the output HTML from this DCR. (This HTML has no lock on it at the time of editing) By editing this HTML, it is allowing user B to modify the locked DCR (own by user A). It seems like it's ignoring the locking mechanism on Teamsite. Why is this happening? Any suggestions?

I found this once before and Interwoven support confirmed it's a bug. I am not sure if it is fixed in the latest release.

hummm, according to FISH from the previous forum threads Teamsite does not allow 2 people to work on the same DCR in the same workarea. This is true when the second user is trying to edit the DCR directly. But if the second user is editing the output HTML which links to that DCR, this DCR can be modify. Do you know if this is still a bug in TeamSite 5.5.2 on Solaris?

I haven't used Solaris in a long time, this problem was 5.5.2 on Windows. I don't know if it ever existed on Solaris, but it sounds like the same bug.
