Is it possible to use the Actuate BIRT Report Designer Professional with Seam?
Any extra support included after buying that? Any possibility to buy support if not?

Hi Tero,
Yes, you can use Actuate BIRT with Seam. For the most part, Actuate BIRT creates the same report design file that Eclipse BIRT can create plus a few extra things like Flash charts and gadgets.
For deployment however, it is much easier to integrate Actuate BIRT into a Seam application because of the JavaScript API (JSAPI). This API makes it easy to embed (and control) the Actuate BIRT Viewer into any application as easy as integrating Google maps or similar JavaScript API.
