Dynamic DataSets from Library

Hello Birt world!

I know that it's not possible to change the Datasource location of a library at runtime.
But I need to retrieve grids from the library which should contain dynamic data.

Is the only approach to copy all the datasets from the lib to the report, make a new binding, make a new grid element... and then "paste" each new dataset CELL BY CELL to my new grid?
