report item cut in excel format

hi,
the report items in the report that stand without table or grid cut in the excel format when the font is big (what display well in PDF format), for example when i put a data report item in the report - as a title of the report - the text is cut - i find that when i put it in a grid and define height it's not cut, do we have another away to avoid this problem (with out put the element in grid) something like define a property in the style?
