Problme with Creating a connection : The SQL Server Requires SSL connection...
aungthuya
I am trying to create a connection using a profile. I am trying to connect to a database; but after I provided the database, host and port number and test connection (connecting to 2005 Server and chose the Acutuate SQL Server 2005 Driver); the following error returned.
ping failed. The SQL Server login requires an SSL connection.
I can connect to the database using the same login using the MS SQL Management Studio (connecting server is 2005).
I don't think the server requires a certificate or anything. But I'd like to test using a cert. I noticed that there is Optional tab in setting up the connection. But I looked the documentation and couldn't obtain any information to do this. It says "Key=Value format" to add optional key/value pair I guess. But to use cert how do I provide such information and the path to the cert.
Thanks in advance

Hi aungthuya,
Is this problem in the desinger or deployed in Tomcat or some other app server?
