connection profile problem

Hi

I am using birt 2.3.
using connection profile data source i have created data set its working fine
i had stored connection profile under project WEB-INF folder .
when try to deployed in production server i am getting following error

SEVERE: Cannot open connection.
org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: There is an error in get co nnection, Communications link failure








Please provide the solution
