Getting Error while opening excel file.
Chanda
Hi,
I have created report it has number values in the footer for counting number of customers, I generated in the web viewer and exported to Excel. But when I tried to Open the excel file I am getting error message as "Problems during load". I have attached that pop up window, please verify. (I am using 2007 MS Office)
I tried to replicate same issue with sample database, but I am not getting this error if I use sample database.
Please help how I can eliminate this error from excel and alll the number columns should retain number format done in the report(currency, thousands etc..).
I have attached my report also.
Regards,
Chanda

Hi Chanda,
So, you only receive errors when you use your own data? Not with the sample database?
Chanda
Yes only when I use our database. After opening the excel file all the number columns will be stored as text.
Manually I have to convert them to number format and save excel file. After saving if I close and open that excel file then I will not get any errors.
Thanks,
Chanda

Chanda,
If it works correctly with the sample database and not with yours, I would have to think it's a bug of some sort because that doesn't make much sense that things would change between those.

Hi,
I am facing a similar error.
There are four sections in the report, If I select individual section and try to generate, I am able to see the report, but If try to generate with all sections selected I am getting ERROR saying (Problems During Load).
One of the section is having around 4000 records and the other three sections collectively having 1800 records. Please let me know if there is any solution.
Thanks,

Hi Chanda,
I too faced this error previously but i got this error beceuse of one date column.i am thinking excel 2007 is not supporting timestamp format, so i had converted that timestamp value as a string(MM/dd/yyyy).Then i can open that excel output file.
Please try and let me know the result
Thanks

If that ends up being the case, will one of you create a devShare entry that explains this for others to be able to find? Thanks!
