Current report item is not supported in this report format

I have "Installing the BIRT Viewer in Tomcat"
It works fine to view report in viewer with text, table and images.
But when I export to PDF or WORD, no images can be showed.
The following error message is appeared:
"Current report item is not supported in this report format"
Who know what happen is it?
And why to fix it?

Hi fatcharles,
Can you recreate this issue with the sample database or in a way that I can run the report and see what you're getting? Thanks.
Also, include what version of BIRT you're using in your response.

The following are the versions of my BIRT.<br />

Viewer Version : 2.5.0<br />
Engine Version: 2.5.0<br />
JRE version: 1.5.0_20<br />

I have try to use the sample -- <em class='bbc'>SalesInvoice.rptdesign</em> to export report as PDF and WORD. The image shows perfectly. <br />

Then, why only my reports cannot output image into PDF or WORD?<br />
I have no idea...

So, they work correctly with the sample database, but not with your own reports? Where are you placing your images when deploying your reports to the viewer?
